Sawmill LITE presents your data faster than any other log file analysis solution. It removes many of the configuration options available in the Sawmill PROFESSIONAL or Sawmill ENTERPRISE editions and in their place substitutes a default (popular) configuration giving you access to the data you need right away and with the minimum of fuss. New users of statistical reporting tools will find this particularly helpful, as will anyone who places a high value on simplicity of operation. When you are ready to take the next step to a more configurable or more powerful product, or simply to add more profiles, then you will appreciate the ease of a Sawmill upgrade. Adding profiles or moving up to the next product is as simple as purchasing a new key, with ‘profile’ compatibility throughout the range of Sawmill solutions.

Adsense- To make your Google adsense ads as different as possible from your website!

Posted in Adsense | Thursday 2 October 2008 9:37 pm

The time you get this far, you are making money from Adsense, writing articles, creating joint ventures etc. you’re building content websites with the aim of earning an AdSense income then you’ll know that the ads shown are dependant upon the surrounding content on your WebPages. In a nutshell, Ad Section Targeting allows you to emphasize what keywords Google AdSense will pick up from your site. The goal is to make your Google adsense ads as different as possible from your website. You are now a member of the AdSense Illuminati. The Google Adsense, will display ads relevant to your topics. There used to be a question that goes, “Is building Adsense sites a business. Try to experiment with the background color, font and text colors to get the desired click-through campaign and, hence, maximizing your adsense income.

A number of factors come into play when AdSense tries to determine what the page is about: The URL of the page, the page title, the anchor text of links, and the keywords that appear most frequently within the page, search engine queries that lead to the page or to another page that links to the page”. Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing articles through Ezine and Press Releases One effective method of increasing adsense revenue is simply increasing the number of targeted visitors that visit your adsense-content page. You will be given new adsense websites per week and taught exactly how to promote them to make money.

The main places you can put your Adsense units are the top of your page above your headline, in the body of your content and at the bottom of your page. Some people think that affiliate marketing is too much work and that splashing some AdSense ads on a page is far easier. If you follow the above tips, you will know how to build Adsense sites that make you a lot of money. Post product reviews with your affiliate links, banners, Google AdSense and everything else that you would use your website for. The one that springs to mind first of course is Google’s Adsense and other similar contextual based advertising being offered by an ever growing army of Google copycats.

Firstly, you need software that can build hundreds of your adsense sites fast using reprinted articles. After all this has been done, all that’s needed is to maintain a stream of content running into the site and put AdSense or affiliate programs on it, and the money should cumulatively start rolling in. Google Adsense has become one of the best ways for small webmasters to earn online, and an entire industry seems to have grown up around it. Try to experiment with the background color, font and text colors to achieve the desired click-through campaign and, hence, maximizing your adsense income.
These advertisements may be in the form of text, such as those found in Google’s AdSense affiliate program; graphics, such as those found in various banners posted online; and streaming media, such as music or video, that can give life to an entertainment or adult site. While they take their time to learn and take action on registering a domain name and web host, creating web sites using FrontPage, uploading the files using FTP, they can get started immediately with Affiliate marketing and AdSense Publishing. Contextual advertising the big come-back of PPC came when Google launched AdSense in 2003, the birth of contextual Advertising. You need to make your Adsense unit blend in with your content, so use rectangular boxes.

People think that affiliate marketing is too much work and that splashing some AdSense ads on a page is far easier. Your page will be designed primarily as a means of providing some additional subject matter information and will feature Adsense ads. The number one reason Google’s AdSense program has far outweighed Yahoo’s Publisher Network is since they’ve been able to spread out as far and wide as possible in as little time as probable.

A knowledge site with a mix together of affiliate plans with Google AdSense ads and earn several nice paychecks a month. To maximize your potential with AdSense, it is important that your site content is accessible to our content crawler. While they take their time to learn and take action on registering a domain name and web host, creating web sites using FrontPage, uploading the files using FTP, they can get started immediately with Affiliate marketing and AdSense Publishing.

While, unlikely accurate since Google will never tell you exactly why it is you have been banned from AdSense it may be possible, as carefully having reviewed the Terms of Service there are restrictions that seem all too vague, but considerably risky to leave unascertained. Things like being able to have an opt-in box, auto responder set up on the back end, RSS feeds, daily new and fresh content that you write, You Tube like videos that are related to the subject matter, AdSense towers, membership capabilities, picture galleries and a whole host of other tricks and tactics.

Park Your Domain & Earn $100 Monthly

Posted in Adsense | Friday 5 September 2008 12:29 am

Domain Registration giants are making a fortune from your parked domain names and their AdSense accounts. It was happening to me until a few months ago. Now I earn over $100 per month per domain name! Best of all, it’s all on auto pilot.

It’s easy to do and takes very little time or effort. Basically it involves using your spare domain names to let AdSense generate extra paychecks for you. I’ll walk you through it step by step.

The most important part will be getting great content. But don’t worry, we have that covered too. After some digging, I went with an inexpensive service called “Why Park?” that automatically builds fully search engine optimized sites in minutes with a few lines of really simple input. They even host the sites for you. Of course I admit I became a little biased toward their service after my first auto generated site got ranked #5 on Google just one week after it went live.

All you need is a free AdSense account. If you still need to get your account just visit http://www.google.com/adsense.

Step1: Get the Best Keywords; Straight from Google!

It’s easier than ever to find the best keywords. I use Google’s own keyword database to figure out which get the most search volume with the least competition. Give it a try at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.

Step 2: Hook Google with a Great Title!

Let’s do a real project. Let’s say we have a domain name to do with custom cakes. If we enter the word “cake” into Google’s free keyword tool, we’ll get plenty of great ideas for what’s hot. “Cake” might be too general to want to compete against but “wedding cake” and “birthday cake” are both great niches.

Take your most important specific and general keyword phrases and put them together, specific first; general second. Let’s use “wedding cake” and “cake”. Now separate the keywords or phrases by a pipe (that vertical key over the Enter/Return key). We now have “wedding cake | cake”. Now go back and grab one or two more relevant keywords like “birthday cake” and “baby shower cake” and combine them like this “wedding cake | cakes for birthdays, baby showers and more”.

Now you’ve covered all your bases and build a fantastic keyword rich title that won’t look like keyword spamming. More importantly it’s one that people will actually read. You have singular and plural versions of “cake(s)”, which will also help a lot.

    Step 3: Get Noticed!

Now we will write a META description that will really get you noticed. This is important. Not only can this tip alone get you ahead of most competitors, but it’s also what readers see of your site before they decide to visit. You need to write something for people, but that search engines will like. Don’t worry. It’s a lot easier than it sounds.

Take all of your keywords and line them up in order of importance. Since “wedding cake” gets more searches than any other, let’s start there and use the same logic for the rest. Now we have, in order, “wedding cake”, “cake”, “birthday cake”, and “baby shower cake.” Be sure to improve your keyword prominence (relevance based on position) by using your best keyword within the first few words of the description, like this: “Wedding cakes made easy! Get great articles, recipes and decorating tips to make cakes for your special occasion. From triple-layer double chocolate birthday cakes to baby shower cup cake buffets; we have tips to make your special occasion delicious.”

As you can see, we used all of our keywords without overloading the text and broke it up a little by adding some detail. It works great! Just try to keep the description at or under 250 characters (including spaces).

Step 4: Add Content That Google Loves!

Why Park (http://www.WhyParkWeb.com) does 99.9% of the work for you. All you have to do is enter your keywords into the article finder provided by the “Research Your Keywords” link located beside the keywords box.

Without using any imagination at all, I found 121 articles in a few seconds… “cake has 98 articles, “wedding cake” has 11 while “birthday cake” has 9 articles and “baby shower cake” has 3.

That’s 121 articles total. This might not sound like a lot but at an average of about 1,000 words per article that’s the size of an average Harry Potter book.

Add “wedding” and get another 788! That’s 909 articles in 10 seconds. You get the idea - more general related keywords can take you over the top and give you a huge, content-rich search engine friendly site, in seconds!

Step 5: Triple Your AdSense Earnings

My click-through rate (CTR) tripled when I switched to this format.

Select ad size 336 x 280. If that’s too big, try 300 x 250. And try to make your ad border and ad background colors the same as your Website’s background color. It helps it blend in and take away some of the “advertisement” feel. It’s also usually best to go with the standard blue hyperlink color for the actual links.

But with all that said, don’t be afraid to experiment. This might be the cheapest controlled research you ever come across, so enjoy it. I change my ad colors (but not size) every so often to see what works best but the above method has worked best to date.

Now you’re ready! You can do this with no problem. Take back control of your domain names and pocket your own profits. Good luck!

    Adsense Magic

Posted in Adsense | Sunday 31 August 2008 9:46 am

A little known method to increase the relevancy of AdSense’s ads on your site without modifying your content visually is by forcing AdSense to focus on or ignoring certain sections. This is called “section targeting.”

Section targeting allows you to suggest sections of your text and HTML content that you’d like Google AdSense to emphasize or downplay when matching ads to your site’s content. By providing Google AdSense with your suggestions, you can assist Google AdSense in improving your ad targeting. Although implementation is easy, I recommend that only those familiar with HTML attempt to implement section targeting.

To implement section targeting, you’ll need to add a set of special HTML comment tags to your code. These tags will mark the beginning and end of whichever section(s) you’d like to emphasize or de-emphasize for ad targeting.

The HTML tags to emphasize a page section take the following format:

    <!? google_ad_section_start ?>

    <!? google_ad_section_end ?>
You can also designate sections you’d like to have ignored by adding a (weight=ignore) to the starting tag:

    <!? google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) ?>
With these tags added to your HTML code, your final code may look like the following:

    <html><head><title>Section targeting</title></head>
    <body>

    Irrelevant text here

    <!? google_ad_section_start ?>

This is the most important content of your webpage. You prefer Ads being shown related to this content.

    <!? google_ad_section_end ?>

Other irrelevant or low-paying keyword-content here

    </body>
    </html>

You can use section targeting to make suggestions about as many sections of a page as you like. However, please be aware that Google AdSense can’t guarantee results, and that it may take up to 2 weeks before Google’s crawlers take any changes you’ve made to your site into account.

In order to properly implement this feature, you’ll need to include a significant amount of content within the section targeting tags. Including insufficient content may result in less relevant ads or Public Service Ads. In addition, please keep in mind that this feature should only be used to emphasize significant sections of your site’s relevant content. It is against Google AdSense’s program policies to manipulate the ad targeting to result in ads that are not relevant to the content of your pages.

So the bottom line is to use section targeting wisely. This means you do not wrap a single sentence or even a medium-sized paragraph in section targeting tags.

One real-life example that I’ve used myself in the past is ignoring menus. NOTE that Google AdSense ignoring your menus does NOT mean Google’s Crawler will so no worries there. I had a menu section with links to articles on a huge variety of topics. Most topics were totally unrelated to the specific page / article. Since I wanted ads to be relevant to the currently viewed article, I wrapped my menu in ignore tags and wrapped my article in ad_section targeting tags. After a few weeks, my Google AdSense ads did become much more relevant and I didn’t see the random ads that were related to the topics in my menu anymore!

    Blogging Income for New Bloggers

Posted in Adsense, Business Online, blog, google, income | Monday 25 August 2008 8:44 pm

Believe it or not, but it?s actually possible to make money from blogging. One teenager has, in fact, earned $5,000 a month just from making posts on his blog! Of course, not every blogger is this lucky. It does take some skill, and some luck to make money from blogging. What it also takes is some knowledge of how exactly to generate income just by posting blogs. In this newsletter, we will go over three specific methods of making money on your blog: Adsense, Pay Per Lead, and Affiliate Links.

So how exactly do I make money on my blog?

You do it by working with another company that wants to use your blog as a form of advertising. It sounds like selling out, right? Not exactly. The advertising can be as in your face or subtle as you want. And it can still make you money, provided you have enough visitors to your blog.

    What is Adsense?

Adsense is a program offered by Google. The program, if installed, will display ads provided by Google.

    How do I get Adsense?

You?ll need to go to Google.com, first. At the bottom of the screen is a link for ?Advertising Programs?. Click on that. Then click on the link for ?Adsense?. Scroll down on the page that comes up and click ?Click Here To Apply!? You then fill out the form with information about yourself. After 12-48 hours, Google will notify you via email whether or not your site has been accepted. When you?ve been accepted, set up your ads by doing either of the following:

    1. If your blog is hosted on Blogger.com, you can set up your AdSense ads by going to your profile, selecting settings>template>add an element. Then select AdSense and login with your account info. Next, you?ll configure your ads and save the template. That?s it.

    2. If you are self-hosting your blog, you?ll have to set up AdSense in more of a manual way. You?ll create your ads(which can be as small or as tall as you want) and then copy the HTML/Javascript code Google gives you. Then you?ll paste it into your blog(on the left, right, or top of the screen).

For the first few days, the ads displayed by Google will be Public Service Announcements. After the ads have been up a few days, though, the ads will switch to ads that are relevant to your blog.

    How does Adsense work?

Every time a visitor clicks an Adsense ad, you get a little bit of money(usually around 30-60 cents). The amount you get for each ad clicked depends on the number of unique visitors you receive on your blog. The more visitors, the more money that can be earned.

Google will then send a check or pay you through Paypal once you?ve made at least $100 from the ads.

It is important to remember that Google will penalize you if you click your own ads, or if you ask visitors specifically to click ads. So don?t do that!

    Pay Per Click

Pay Per Click is basically just like AdSense, except you don?t just work with Google?you work with multiple companies. BidVertiser is one such company you can sign up with to do Pay Per Click advertising.

How do I get Pay Per Click

You sign up with a site like Bidvertiser and then follow their instructions to set up the Pay Per Click ads on your site.

How does Pay Per Click work?

It works by paying you money each time someone clicks an ad that you display. You won?t get paid for multiple clicks from the same user in the same visitor, nor will you get paid for someone simply visiting your site. You only get paid for legitimate clicks.

    Affiliate Links

Affiliate links are basically links which people pay you for. Companies will actually pay owners of popular blogs to post links on their blog. You can do as much Affiliate linking as you want.

How do I get Affiliate Links?

You can get Affiliate links by searching for ?Affiliate Link Programs? on the internet. Once you find an Affiliate link program that looks good to you, sign up for it. Then you can follow their instructions for putting the link(s) on your blog.

    How do Affiliate Links work?

Like the other two methods mentioned above, Affiliate links work by paying you money each time they are clicked. You get paid for each click per unique visitor.

So that?s it. There?s three legitimate ways to make money from blogging. It is important to keep in mind that the amount of money you are able to make depends on how many visitors your blog draws. If you draw a lot, you?ll make a lot. If not, the money you earn will be modest. But it?s still extra money, so why not do it?

Making money using Adsense, Pay Per Click or Affiliate Link programs is easy and effective. Start monetizing your blog today!

    Reasons to blog

Posted in Adsense | Tuesday 19 August 2008 10:43 pm

Reasons for blogging are many and varied. Writers can keep in touch with friends, family, and their fanbase, keep everyone up to date on their writing projects, or simply share their knowledge on a favorite subject. Online journals allow for posting video, pictures, and even music. Many blogs end up being a web site, where the main body of text is the updated content posted daily or weekly, depending on the effort put into the site.

Writers especially enjoy the convenience of posting daily whether its their favorite subject, personal stories, or even posting chapter by chapter works-in-progress. I don’t suggest the latter due to copyright issues. Once ‘published’ even in your own blog, some publishing companies will not put your novel to print.

For some writers, blogging can also earn them money. I found this intriguing and for myself, the path towards monetizing a blog was both enlightening and more difficult than I thought. Any selling on the World Wide Web demands time in marketing, which isn’t fun or glamorous. Networking somehow feels as though I’m selling out. The trick is using Adsense, which Wordpress.com doesn’t allow (or any script similar), or the use of adding other adverrtising somewhere on your site. Wordpress.org, however does allow for Adsense, providing you’re hosting your own blog.

    Some tips in regards to blogging are as follows;

    * Post short entries. Most visitors to blogs want their information quick and to the point. The first paragraph should summarize the remaining entry.

    * Categorize and tag your blog entries. Visitors like being able to look up subjects quickly and easily. Tags, labels, and categories helps in this. Tagging also allows for people to find your entry. Where they might not discover your blog, your entry will pop up in searches.

    * Write regularly. As a writer, you should be writing daily anyway. A blog can help by letting you pick various topics in which to write about. I’ve found some blogs that simply add snippets of stories, poems, or rants about the arduous task of putting a story to paper.

*Atomically updated content for your site. I use a RSS feed in my website that links to my blog. This way, all the new entries I write are automatically updated on my site.

    Some other Keyword Research Tools

Posted in Adsense | Sunday 17 August 2008 8:11 pm

    Dear friend,

One need to choose those keywords that are frequently searched for and which is in high demand, but not being already used by many other websites and competitors, and thus has low competition. There are a number of keyword research tools that can help you find them.

Apart from the Wordtracker which was already discussed in an other article, we have some more equally important research tools like the Overture, Google AdWords Keyword and Guidebeam.

Overture’s http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ keyword suggestion tool is free and much quicker to use than Wordtracker. It works more like the Wordtracker but doesn’t tell you how many websites are targeting each keyword phrase. For example if you type ‘Computer’, the Overture search suggestion tool will tell you that during the last month the word ‘Computer’ was searched, say for example 459550 times at Overture.Com. Similarly ‘computer game’ was searched 302210 times. Also, given one word it will tell you all relevant combinations of that word, which are based on actual searches done by people. If the word you keyed in is not a common search term then you will not get any results. It means that very few people have actually searched for that word during the last month.

Even Google Keyword Tool generates potential keywords for your ad campaign and reports their Google statistics, including search performance and seasonal trends. Features of this tool include,
    • Sorting the results of your desired keyword search by popularity, past performance history within the AdWords system, cost, and predicted ad position.
    • Easy keyword manipulation where you can select a few keywords here and there or add them all at once.
    • Searches for keywords present even in any webpage URL specified by your search. It can also expand your keyword search even further to include those pages that are linked to or from the original URL page.
    • More keyword results are generated based on regularly updated usage statistics database. This helps you to get new keywords or phrases.

Guidebeam http://www.guidebeam.com/ is an interesting resource. Type in a phrase and it will suggest a large number of related searches. The numbers generated against each phrase are Guidebeam’s estimation of how relevant that phrase is.

These softwares are useful for researching how people search the web and then optimizing your own web pages so that more people find your web site.

3 Ways To Use PLR Products To Boost Your Blogging

Posted in Adsense | Sunday 17 August 2008 8:02 pm

    Dear friend,

Blogging requires you to produce a lot of content on a regular basis. If you do not have a ghostwriter writing your blog content, then it means you will need to spend some time writing some blog posts.

(Private Label Rights) PLR articles and e-books are very popular these days, and they can help you to unleash the power of your blogging.

This article outlines how you can use PLR content to make your blogging quick and easy.

    1. Buy PLR articles or e-books and customize them into blog posts. All you have to do is to look for PLR content that relates to your niche, break that content into smaller pieces and customize it to make it unique. Remember that for search engines to index your blog and drive traffic to your blog, you need to have unique information. After you have customized this content, put it into blog posts. This process will make it easy and quick for you to generate content for your website.
    2. Buy PLR articles and e-books, customize them into your own e-books and make them available on your blog for free. This will make your blog very informative and helpful, which will make your visitors want to bookmark your blog and visit it on a regular basis. These regular customers will generate you some sales as they are likely to buy more products from you. By using PLR content and customizing it into your own e-books and reports, you make it easy for you to create e-books or reports which you can give away on your blog. Writing e-books from scratch can cost you a lot of money or take a lot of time. PLR articles and e-books make it easy for you create your own products that you can post on your blog for your visitors to read.
    3. To attract traffic to your blog, you can compile PLR content into special reports, make them unique and give them away to your list. In these reports, you can add the links to your blog. This can be very powerful because on your blog you will be selling more of your own products or affiliate products. Using this approach can help you sell new products to your list on a regular basis.

These three tips can help you use PLR content to increase the power of your blogging. PLR content that you can quickly customize means that you can generate content for your blog very quickly. PLR content is also fairly cheap. The more unique and fresh content you have on your blog, the more traffic you drive you to blog.

    To your sucess,
